Our Queen’s Herald for January 2022

Highlights

• Our January Zoom meeting will have the installation of 2022 Officers and Board Members.  Following that, John will present the photos submitted for the Pacific Northwest District 2021 Photography Contest.  It will be fun to sit back and look at beautiful roses after all the snow.  (It will also be a good time to write down which roses you might need to add to your garden this coming year.)
• Zoom invitations will be sent out on Mon, Jan 17 and again on the meeting date of Thurs, Jan 20.
• Bruce includes a lengthy & detailed article about the James Alexander Gamble Fragrance Award with great color photos of some of the winners starting on pg 3.
• Keith also includes an update on the renovations to the historic Pt Defiance Rose Arbor on pg 6.
• NOTE: The TRS Board has, exercising an abundance of caution with Covid, decided not to sponsor a booth at the upcoming Tacoma Home and Garden Show. In addition, they have decided to waive our membership dues for 2022. ( Buy another rose instead . . . )
