Highlights
- The February Zoom Meeting is Thurs, 2/17 starting at 6:30 pm, including a program by Bruce on Spring Pruning of your roses & other Spring chores. See pg 1.
- The March 5th Spring pruning at Point Defiance is coming up quickly. Plan now for a morning of hands-on learning about Spring pruning techniques. This event is our most popular one, & many people come for a refresher class to make sure their rose garden gets off to a great start. Keith’s summary, including Metro Parks’ Covid rules, is on pg 2.
- A special remembrance by Jo Martin of 2021 ARS President Bob Martin, an avid exhibitor who we lost suddenly last fall, is on Pg 4.
- Finally, we’ve included links to a list of the new ARS roses for 2022 on pg 6.
- Many of those new roses are pictured here in the QH, & more will appear in the March edition. See pgs 7 & 8.
