Thanks for continuing to make this a legendary Rose Society. Here are some website resources that may help new members understand TRS online a little better. Some of it is dry reading, but some privacy related details may inform you, too.

New Member FAQs
Yep. We’re a community volunteer group, so all members of the community are welcome to join. Just plan on doing a little gardening work. All gardening skill levels are encouraged. If you have other specialized skills, let us know. We are growing. . .
Sure. Email us of your interest and we’ll invite you to our next in-person meeting or on Zoom.
Yes, the memberships are “whole household”, not individual. Your signup includes all family members regardless of age under your roof.
During the quarantine period of 2020-2022, we are all meeting, planning, and supporting TRS on Zoom. Stepping up to help from home comes in many ways, so just get in touch with your rose friends and ask.
Right now, it’s T-shirts, denim shirts, hats, and fleece vests. Email us for further questions about current stock, colors, sizing, and custom orders.
When we can meet in person, we add time for social gathering to the start of almost every event. (We eat real well at the monthly meetings too. . . )
Nope. He’s a distinguished retired gentleman now. But he still gets his hands dirty working in his own garden.
But Marianne Binetti might. She lives nearby and gives talks, and visits gardens to generate content for her large online presence. Plus, she’s very nice . . .
Yes. It’s only $20/whole household/calendar year.
We met online using Zoom monthly for general Member meetings and monthly Board meetings to get TRS work done. Pruning was still done in the Pt Defiance Rose Garden, with social distancing and masking protocols in place.
We trim a few hundred roses at Pt. Defiance Park Rose Garden, visit with the public at the local Home & Garden Show, help with our annual rose show, help with the 2 annual plant sales, and much more . .
Not anymore. That’s more for Master Gardeners, or your best friends. TRS Consulting Rosarians are more advisors and guides than contractors or handymen. We can, though, help you design an efficient and productive rose garden that will be easy to live with.
Our in-person meetings return in 2023. We meet in the basement of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church basement on Union Ave across from Allenmore Hospital.
We suggest full vaccines for Covid-19 at this point, to reduce the spread now that we can meet in person again.
