Alfalfa and Roses
Alfalfa is one of the additives that is often used when planting roses. It is also used dry or as part of a tea during the spring fertilizing.
Horticulture Challenge Classes
During the showing of roses in an ARS Rose Show, the show committee will create some special exhibition classes designed to challenge your eye for display.
Planting PNW Roses 2024
Choose an area with at least 6 hours of free sunlight, good water drainage, good air circulation, and no intruding roots from other plantings.
Spring Rose Pruning 2024
The usual plants that indicate when we should do our spring rose pruning in 2024 are not yet showing any color in our yard: yellow Forsythia and pink Quince.

Queen’s Herald January 2024
Our Annual Banquet will be held on Saturday January 20.The dinner, starting at about 1pm, is potluck with a program about the history of TRS & its partnership with Pt. Defiance.
Raft Island Roses 2024
These are the confirmed rose bushes that Mike will have for you to pre-order in January & pick up in February. (Shipping a potted rose is not a good idea.)
