TRS Annual Rose Show
June 14 @ 6:30 am – 5:00 pm
Mark June 14, 2025 on your calendars as the date of
the Tacoma Rose Society Rose Show. When saving the date, add that the location will once again be the Rotunda on the University of Puget Sound campus in North Tacoma. Doors open & tables are set up at 6.30 am for exhibitors and at noon, the show will be open to the public. See the formal schedule booklet for the details of the day’s activities, plus the ‘rules of the road’ for exhibiting in the show.
Apart from 1918, the Tacoma Rose Society has hosted at least one rose show
each year since its founding in 1911. That year was different because of World War I and the Influenza pandemic. We look forward to another great show in the UPS Rotunda again this year, as we continue this proud tradition.
Making this dream come true will be easier if all Members commit to helping with the 2025 show in one-way or another (ideally in several ways). Talk to your rose friends about how you can help . . .
As John suggests, buy Number 1 grade rose plants now and watch them in a quarantine area for a while before planting in your garden. Some planting tips will be a part of the “clinics” at our February and March TRS meetings, so stay in touch for those. The more you prepare, the better your experience at the show . . .
