TRS Annual Member Banquet
January 18 @ 12:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Our Annual Banquet will be Saturday January 18. Our banquet committee,
led by Keith Ripley & Jo Martin has a great afternoon planned for us. The doors will open at 9:30am for anyone who would like to help with the room setup.
We start at noon with time to chat with fellow members. Our TRS President Debbie Jackson will welcome everyone and we will have a toast with sparkling cider, then it is time to check out the silent auction items. If you have
any items you would like to donate, please bring them to the banquet. Items to donate include just about anything including rose related items such as books, vases, tools, etc. (We will have silent auctions with roses starting in February).
The dinner, starting at about 1pm, is potluck. TRS will provide the decorations,
coffee, tea, plates, utensils, ham, etc. Please bring your favorite salad, hot dish or
dessert. After dinner we will have the installation of TRS officers for 2025.
Our program about how the Northwest’s glacial soils affect the growth of roses will be given by TRS member Dr. Gary Ritchie. Gary serves as the Pacific Northwest District’s scientist. (We are in for a treat! He presented this program at this year’s Fall Conference and it was excellent!)
