PNW District Summer Garden Tour - July 2018

Each summer members of the Pacific NW District of the ARS go on a bus tour of member gardens in our fabulous part of the country.  This year we'll be crossing into OR and back.

Point Defiance Plant Sale - March 24, 2018

Donated rose bushes, perennials, & bulbs from Tacoma gardens & Metro Park sites are put out for our largest public sale at the Pagoda on a Spring morning.  All proceeds go to benefit the Rose Garden.

Annual Rose Show - June 16, 2018

Each June we run an ARS sanctioned rose show in Tacoma, where rose growers & arrangers show their stuff.  A regional group of ARS judges visit each class in the show, agree on the quality of each entry, & then decide on a best-in-class winner.  Trophies & certificates are handed out to winners in a grand ceremony at the end of the day, with a picture taken with the Chairman of the TRS Show as a memento of their hard work.

PNW District  Fall Conference

November 2-4, 2018

Each year our ARS District gathers to hold arrangement seminars, judging classes, and operations meetings at a central location.  An excellent way to upgrade knowledge in an informal setting, usually at a scenic lodge.

Spring Pruning - March 3, 2018

Meeting at Pt. Defiance Rose Garden for the yearly hard pruning of ALL the rose bushes.  A great place to learn about caring for your beauties . . .

Puyallup Fair Rose Show
