Program: How to Prune your Rosebushes

Our February 19th meeting will have everything you need to get the 2004 rose season off to a great start. Dig out your clippers and bring them to our TRS Sharpening Station. For a small donation to TRS, our tool care specialists Cliff Martin and Jim Leisner will sharpen them! Cliff Martin will disclose his secrets for keeping tools sharp, as well.

Our panel of experts will then be on hand to demonstrate pruning techniques. Bruce Lind will talk about minis and climbers, Anne Theivagt will give us pointers on tea roses and floribundas and Lance Norton will fill us in on old garden roses and shrubs.

And that’s not all! Frank Gatto of Raft Island Roses will share some of his personal rose recommendations and bring news about new roses he has at Raft Island Roses this year.
